Since I was a child, I’ve had a passion for photography. Initially sparked by sneaking my dad’s Pentax SLR film camera out of its bag just to hold it. When I received my first digital camera as a pre-teen I found inspiration in the work of Ansel Adams and how he was able to show such depth and beauty in black and white, so I began capturing the stunning scenery around me.
As someone who suffers from social anxiety, branching into Portrait photography was a bit outside my comfort zone. I was lucky to have family and friends willing to model for me and was honoured to be hired as a second shooter with local wedding photographers Alex Spracklin of Atlantica Photography and Emily Frampton of Em Frampton Photo.
I’ve been able to branch on my own and have honed my skills in capturing the perfect blend of candid, authentic moments and posed shots. My aim is to create a relaxed, fun-filled environment that brings out genuine laughter and captures the vibrancy of not only the world around you, but your playful spirit.
